Meet the owners of the booming bubs swim school in Belrose

Parents-of-five Andria and Cameron Koolloos opened JUMP! Belrose in March 2015.

Cameron is a veteran of the swim industry with 13 years of experience, having run and operated other centres across the Northern Beaches. Andria has also been part of the swim industry for many years as a swim school teacher, so together they decided to open their own school and work for themselves after Andria had their second child.

Andria says,

“Helping children learn to swim and seeing the rewards make it all worthwhile. Every day, I do what I love and love what I do.

“I am forever grateful to Cameron, as he has blessed every single one of my five children (Chiara, 3; Ava, 4; Sophia, 10; Daniela, 11; and Frankie, 13) with a love of water for life!”.

Back in 2015, JUMP! Belrose was just a little swim school compared to others in the area.

“When we first started, the Northern Beaches mums and North Shore mums Facebook community really got behind us and supported us.

“Now, the whole community know us and shares our story and that’s incredibly rewarding for Cameron and I.”

Enrolments have increased eightfold since opening, expanding from 70 students to 580 little swimmers in the two years it has been operating.

In 2016, JUMP! Swim Schools Belrose took out the Most Outstanding New Business category at the Northern Beaches Local Business Awards.
